Let’s show how to take a screenshot on your iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Due to Face ID iPhones do not have a Home button, you have to use the Side button to capture a screenshot instead.
- Go to Screen or open an App you want to take a screenshot

- Press and hold the Side button on the right side of the iPhone device with Face ID

How to take a screenshot on iPhone 8 and earlier

- Once you take a screenshot on your iPhone
- Tap on the PIP at the bottom left side (Picture in a Picture)
- To edit your screenshot use the editing tools
- Select the Done option once done the editing with screenshot
- If you want to Save your edited screenshot then press the Save to Photos option. You can also tap on the Delete Screenshot option to delete the screenshot or tap on the Cancel option to continue with editing without deleting or saving.

How to view and edit screenshots
Once you take screenshots then it will automatically be saved in your Photo app. You can see and edit your screenshot in the following steps:
- Go to your Home screen and open the Photos app
- Tap on the Albums option
- Select the Screenshots
- Tap a Screenshot to view, edit, favorite, or share it.
You can also select the camera icon or use the edit menu in application like Mail or Messages to insert your screenshot into an email, text, and more.
