Penty began her modelling career in 2005 when she was signed up by Elite Models India. Diana was made her screen debut with commercial successful Hindi Movie Cocktail (2012), which won her nine Awards for Best Female Debut Actress. Diana Penty Received Vogue Beauty Awards, UK Bollywood Cosmopolitan Awards, BIG Star Entertainment Awards ETC Bollywood Business Awards, Fimfare Awards Screen Awards, Zee Cine Awards, Star Guild Awards and International Indian Film Academy Awards for the Film Cocktail. Diana Penty also honored Grazia Face of the year 2013 and Times of India’s Most Desirable Woman of 2012 and Time’s of India’s 10 Most Promising Newcomers 2012.
After a four year sabbatical from acting, Penty played a free-spirited runaway bride in the comedy film Happy Bhag Jayegi; she garnered praise for her performance and the film went on to become a sleeper hit grossing over ₹391 million. She went on to feature in the prison film Lucknow Central (2017) and the action film Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran (2018).
In addition to modelling and acting, Penty is currently the Indian brand ambassador of TRESemmé, Nokia and Micromax Mobile.
