iOS users can follow the below steps to create, add,manage, and access the Close friends list on their device:

Open the Instagram app on your iOS (iPhone or iPad) phone
Log in to your Instagram Account with your credentials (Username & Password) if not.
Then tap on your Profile Photo in the bottom-right corner to go to your Profile.
Next, select the Three Horizontal Bars from the top right side
Go down and tap on the Close Friends option
Now tap on the Get Started option for the first time using this feature the list will be empty
In the Search, Bar type someone’s name to look for them on the Instagram
Once you find the user then tap on the Add option next to the account name to add to your Close Friends list. You will require to Repeat these steps for all the friends you want to add
Tap on the Create List option once you are done and your Close Friends list is ready
Go back to your Close Friends section, at the top you will view the users you added to the list.
You will also see the suggested profiles list, now tap on Add option if you want to add any one of them to your Close Friends.

Open and log into your Instagram

Select the Three Horizontal line bars from the top
Then tap on the Close Friends option from the menu
Tap on the Add from the top or type the Name in the Search bar
Next tap on the Person Name or Account to open it you want to add

Now tap on the Add to Close Friends List option once the menu slides up from the bottom
