Color Dictionary makes it easy to pinpoint the exact shade you want to use with its simple and intuitive interface and comparison tools. It’ll cost you $1.99 to download, but it’s worth every penny.

Though this is by no means a definitive list of essential design apps, it’s a good place to start. Now that Android 3.0 Honeycomb has been released, it will be interesting to see what developers come up with to take advantage of the extra screen space. The coming year should be an exciting one in terms of what we can look forward to in the field of Android-focused design applications.

Yes some useful looking apps on there. My wireless internet connection keeps dropping today but will try a few of these out when it’s back up as I can’t face downloading these over a mobile connection!
